The lodge hosted royal gatherings and visits from Yugoslav, Romanian, and English royals, enhancing its historical significance.
1903- 1902
The Last Chapter of a Visionary
Adolf Muhr was honored as an Honorary Citizen of Bled in 1902—the same year Vila Muhr was constructed.

Late 19th century
Adolf Muhr
Adolf’s career in Vienna’s coal industry, marked by innovation and controversy in firewood sales, reflected the era’s challenges and societal changes.
From Vienna’s vibrant culture, he led his family to the enchanting Upper Carniola in Slovenia, where he found his heart’s calling amidst nature and historic landmarks.
